The Clashfarmer infrastructure server is undergoing unscheduled maintenance, we are very sorry for this inconvenience. 

Our data-center promised it will be over in a few hours and the server will be back up. After that, ClashFarmer bot will resume working as usual.

Is this the reason for the version check error.

I would think so, the app cant connect to confirm its current

when it will be ready? becuase its stillnot working

as of this writing, still having this problem:

It is now working on my laptop but still having problem on my desktop PC.
