Too Much DE need gold

Hello everyone I have maxed out my DE and cannot use any for multiple days.(8)
 
Does anyone have a strategy that uses dark elixir troops that would maximize profits?

I just set my army to use 30 valks and the rest goblins. I Don't know how it will work but I bet since there is a valk event going on it will make a lot of resources but not burn much DE. I'll change it back soon when the event ends.

I use 25 giants and 20 wizards, th9, my gold and elixer is constantly maxed.. i am grinding for DE now.  I actually dropped my settings to 25k gold and elixer, 1k DE and I am STILL maxed out!
